Stats: Landmark day - Crossed Pageviews of Sept 2010!

1. We crossed 3000 Pageviews on Oct 19th 2010 and
2. Touched 1546 Pageviews as of Oct 20th and already exceeded pageviews for month of Sept 2010 (the pageviews for month of Sept was 1517)

3. The no. of articles contributed in Oct is so far less than that in Sept which means, more folks are now coming to our site and discovering the site for the first time or looking into earlier posts, which they had missed.

4. Can we reach the 2000 Pageviews barrier for the month of Oct? The no. of new posts added is going to be less as i am travelling around. Lets wait and watch!

Stats: 54% of Pageviews of September achieved in just under 11 days!

And while we await Sachin Tendulkar to create more records on the fourth and fifth days of the final test between India and Australia, the statistics for this blog have kept me busy and here they are:
As of 5:50 pm CET on Oct 11th,
  1. All time page views for this blog are at 2376, which is 319 more than the last stats posted on Oct 7th. This means, the average Page Views per day is now roughly around 75-80
  2. Pageviews for month of October alone are 824. This is roughly 54% of the Pageviews for the month of September (1517). This feat was achieved in a little over 10.5 days in this month! This month we may well cross the 1517 barrier, from the current scheme of things.
  3. The blog “An Experience:Enthiran:The Robot” posted on Oct 10th at 11.00 pm CET is now amongst the Top 10 most viewed articles on my blog. The feat was achieved in a little over 16 hours where 44 folks have already read the same!
  4. This week we also added continuation to our Short Stories series, by adding Part 3. It still has to pick up the same levels of Pageviews, as Part 2 and Part 1 have picked up, for me to gauge user interest and write next part.

Neways, no bar graphs for this time and that’s it for now!

    More later!

Stats:Yet another milestone in 7 Days!

1.     After our last set of Stats on Sept 30th 2010, this is a time to announce two major achievements –

" As of today - October 7th, this blog has got 504 views in 7 days in October (average of 72 page
views per day this month)! "

"On October 6th, 2010 – “Pageviews all time history” parameter crossed 2000 Page views, which
means that more than 2000 page views were made on the blog. Most of these 2000 were between
September 2010 and October 2010. The current pageview count is 2057 at 12.58 pm CET."

2.   The countries, from where users visit this blog are quiet diverse and cover all continents. These  countries are:
  • Americas: USA, Canada, Brazil, Mexico, Argentina
  • Asia Pacific: India, South Korea, Singapore, Australia, Malaysia, New Zealand, Pakistan, Malaysia, Philippines, China, Nepal, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Japan
  • Europe: Norway, UK, Germany, Malta, Sweden, Greece, Finland, Russia, Denmark, France, Italy, Netherlands, Romania, Poland, Slovenia, Estonia
  • Middle East & Africa: UAE, South Africa, Egypt, Israel, Saudi Arabia
3.  Shown below is the split of people visiting this blog from various parts of the world. US of course tops the chart, followed by India, Norway and UK. I have also already turned off "Don't track my page views" so the Norway numbers are from elsewhere! The below is based on a Page View count of 1818.
Countries not mentioned in the graph above, but listed in point 3 are covered in the remaining 239 page views (2057 – 1818) on my blog. Currently Google Stats show only the top 10 countries with the most page views.

4.  Writing on current affairs and issues is definitely a big draw on page views and interesting to many. A case in point is the blog on “The parallel life with Rajanikanth” which now has 80 page views in just 7 days of being published (Sept 30th).  Other example is “The tribute to Dell Inspiron….” which has had 88 page views since being published on Sept 27th.

Announcement on New Label:

There was a new label on "Personality Development" added this week. All the articles written by me
as a Creative Writer under Boloji.com would be posted here over the next few days. My profile in
Boloji.com can be accessed at link (click on link).

Stats: HisTory!

1.       On Sept 23rd, exactly 7 days back we had published the first set of statistics for this blog and hoped to cross 1000 pageviews by Sept’30 2010. We have surpassed our initial target! As of 11.06 pm CET, this blog has now got total of 1500 pageviews in the month of September’2010 alone! An amazing feat, considering the fact that the pageviews before September were only 28!

2.       See the split of people visiting this blog from various parts of the world. US of course tops the chart, followed by India, Norway and UK. I have also already turned off "Don't track my page views" so the Norway numbers are from elsewhere!
3.     A lot of feedback received offline – by word of mouth, email, chat and also as comments on the blog and facebook/orkut has been received with an open mind. Thanks a load for that. I will focus on the suggested improvement areas and thanks for branding my writing as “creative writing”. Hope I am able to raise the bar to your expectations and do well!

4.       Year 2010 has been a significant year for this blog, as we had the maximum no. of blogs (22 so far and counting) posted ever in the five years this blog has been online and the highest ever in a single month (Sept 2010 where there are 21 blogs including this one).

5.       Blog “Tribute to the Dell Inspiron 5150: My first laptop” is now having 87 clicks after just 3 days of being posted. This is one of the fastest blogs to touch the three figure mark!

6.   Through this blog, am able to moor my thoughts and energies onto something i wanted to do for so long and in a way helping me look beyond the loneliness that depresses one in this part of the world. Kudos to blogger.com!

This blog create history!

This is a momentous day for this young blog. Though it has been operational for the past five years,
its this month that has been the most voluminous month in terms of the no. of blogs written by me or the incoming traffic. Glad to share the following milestones:

#1 Article "Global Delivery Model" became the first article in this blog to cross 100 page views early this week. Though written in 2005, it indeed proves "Old is Gold"!

#2 Article "Tribute to Bangalore Roomies" posted just 3 days back has now had 84 page views. Here comes the fastest blog to reach such a high hit. This can lead to one conclusion that a sincere tribute to your past can indeed be rewarding!

#3 Today this blog overall crossed 1000 page views in all! See the split of people visiting this blog from various parts of the world. US of course tops the chart, followed by India, Norway and UK. I have also already turned off "Don't track my page views" so the Norway numbers are from elsewhere!

Apart from the above countries, there were clicks also from countries like Argentina, Brazil, Finland, Phillipines, Pakistan - which is not visible in the Graph above due to volumes lower than 1%.

#4 The blog has total of 1018 page views as of now, of which
     18 pageviews were from August'10
980 pageviews are from Sept'10 alone!

Hopefully by September 2010 end, we are able to cross the magic figure of 1000 pageviews for Sept - the next aspirational milestone!

# 5 The blog is unique as i have blogged not only from US, but also from India and Norway.

#6 I had another small blog which was the earliest of my blogs. Posted all articles from there to this blog early this week for simplification.

#7 Feature of "Labels" added for easy searching related to common themes.

#8 The first series of "Short Stories" started and already 2 part's are published. Another firsts!

#9 There are now seven followers for this blog! A record so far!

#10 This blog covers following different themes: Travelogue, Real Life Stories, Fiction, Bachelorhood 2.0 series and Humor as of now. I am trying to develop a versatility in writing on various themes than being specialized. I am refraining from writing on Personality Development as i am already a regular columnist on a different website. The analytics provided by the "Stats" feature of the blogger along with your commets/ feedback will help me to then specialize in one form of writing.

#11 Early this week the blog also crossed two consecutive days where there were more than 100 page views (on Mon and Tue)

It wouldn't have been possible without the support of all of you who patiently searched for this blog or clicked on the links i share on Facebook, Orkut, Gtalk and Twitter!

Thanks all and i will ensure i keep this blog rocking! Comments, Feedback - pls email / post!
